Sean Porter’s intimate and naturalistic style is a culmination of over 10 years of feature, documentary and commercial work. He recently completed principle photography on Eden, directed by Megan Griffiths (director of The Off Hours), and Grassroots by veteran filmmaker Stephen Gyllenhaal. Bass Ackwards, Sean’s collaboration with director Linas Phillips (Walking to Werner) premiered at Sundance in 2010. His work on the international award-winning documentary Sweet Crude earned him accolades in the Variety and ‘Best Female Images in a Movie’ by the Woman Film Critic’s Circle in 2009. Sean graduated from the University of Washington with a BFA in Media Production and Design. He currently resides in Brooklyn with his wife and child.
